Lately I've been spending most of my time re-working several of my written works, one of them a fanfic. My current obsession is Secondhand Sidekick--a humor/fantasy/slice of life story about a woman whose best friend is a hero, but is always left behind herself--I'm hoping to convert it into a light novel this November for National Novel Writing Month.
Next to that there is Operation E.L.F.--a futuristic sci-fi where "elves" are the genetically engineered products for warfare and the result of them turning on their creators--hopefully it will develop into a full-length novel eventually (maybe I'll post the prologue/summary later today).
Also my pride and joy, Sugar Addiction: A Sequel to Hansel and Gretel--very slow in the making, but coming along beautifully. Most slowness is due to Hansel being as stubborn as he has always been.
And, my fanfic The Demon Prince of Konoha Rewrite.
DPOK is really the only one that is getting any serious writing done on it. Most of the others are being ignored to detail them in outlines(something I don't often do, my one big weakness in high school).
Other than that, however, things are painfully quiet. Being lazy is nice and all, but I am really wanting to get out of the house and work--alas, I remain jobless. If anyone is interested, I would love to take commissions. I'm not the greatest artist out there, but prices start at $5 and I always give it my best. Art or even written works, and I'm willing to go beyond that. Personalized cards, jewelry, folding and non-folding fans, I can even sew kimono. You want it, I am willing to give it a shot. However, I cannot do digital art (don't have the proper software and tools).
You're stuck dealing with me through Etsy.com [link] , however. If there is an existing piece of art you would like, just let me know and you will probably be able to purchase it.
Well, everyone, have a fantastic day!
